The senior role is to conceptualise, design and focus on creating intelligent and powerful broadcast & digital media communications.
•Must be able to manage the creative team from concept to completion of the projects with strong leadership
•Involvement in each step of a campaign's process.
•Provide direction, work on schedule and meet client's advertising expectations
•Design research, concept development and experimentation
•Adhere to budgets and timelines issued by the producers and Captiv8 management team
•Design and present concepts and design development for broadcast, online, interactive and mobile media
•Provide solid direction and training to other junior, mid level and senior designers, artists and project contributors working with Captiv8
•Provide creative direction utilising key applications within the Adove CS suite
•Story board and provide creative development for client approval
•Be responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the broadcast production team
•Manage creative projects and liase and deal with clients on a daily basis
•Translate market objectives into creative strategies, directing the creative team in the production of advertising and marketing collateral
We are looking for a Junior Digital Developer / Designer / Animator to join our Digital Development Team part-time (2-3 days per week) with an opportunity to create high profile sites, online games and banners. The candidate will want to gain an understanding of digital technologies, Oriented Object Programming & design principles.
The candidate needs to be creative, well organised, self motivated and have great communications skills. You will work in a team of designers & developers with expertise in Flash, HTML, JavaScript, PHP and SQL, in a lively and stimulating environment where innovation and knowledge sharing is openly encouraged.
Candidates for this position will have experience in ActionScript 3.0 Flash classes, Flash video and dynamic data management (eg XML) in Flash. The candidate should have a good eye for design as one of the responsibilities will be to translate static photoshop layouts into working Flash websites / games. Examples of work are expected. Ideally some of the following would be a bonus: Gaia Framework, Push Button Engine, Flex, Papervision3D , JavaScript, PHP/AmfPHP.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the development department to help shape the look, feel and function of outstanding online experiences with good usability and design for blue-chip clients.
You will push new technologies to achieve the desired functionality. The ability to bring to life great creative ideas and designs is trait we’re after!
The role is for an initial 6 months, with the opportunity to go full time after this period.
